We are pleased to inform you that an exact copy of the wonder-working icon of the “Three-Handed” Most Holy Mother of God, which is kept in Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos, will be installed in St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church of Washington, DC (located at 10660 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854). The icon will remain permanently in our church and will be available for prayers and veneration to all people of good will.

The icon will be festively installed in our church during the Vespers service for the feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God tomorrow, on Thursday, October 13th at 7:00 P.M. Following Vespers, all present will be anointed with the sacred oil blessed in Hilandar Monastery before the wonder-working “Three-Handed” Icon of the Mother of God.

Са задовољством вас обавештавамо да ће копија иконе Пресвете Богородице “Тројеручице”, која се чува у Манастиру Хиландару на Светој Гори, бити свечано унета у цркву Светог Луке у Вашингтону (адреса: 10660 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854). Икона ће остати у нашем храму за стално, а сви људи добре воље моћи ће да је целивају и пред њом се помоле Пресветој Богородици.

Икона ће бити свечано унета у цркву током Вечерње службе за празник Покрова Пресвете Богородице сутра, у четвртак, 13. октобра у 19:00 часова. После Вечерње, сви присутни ће бити помазани уљем освештаним у Манастиру Хиландару пред чудотворном иконом Пресвете Богородице “Тројеручице”.
