Dear Friends,

The icon of the Mother of God “Trojerucica” was festively brought to our parish on the first Sunday of June 2022. This coming Sunday will be the first anniversary of her arrival. As it was announced last year, with the blessing of our Bishop, to mark the occasion of the arrival of the icons of the Mother of God into our midst, we will celebrate her feast this coming Sunday, June 4th.

Please, join us for the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 A.M. Following the Liturgy we will also bless the Slava gifts for our Serbian School “Nikola Tesla” and will have the parish luncheon.

Our Serbian School children will have a program at 2:00 P.M.

Our “Pekarica” will sell Serbian sweets following the program to raise funds for the renovation of the children’s playground.

Драги парохијани цркве Светог Луке,

Драги пријатељи,

Иконе Пресвете Богородице Тројеручице је свечано унесена у наш храм прошле године у прву недељу јуна. У ову недељу је прва годишњица њеног доласка. Као што смо објавили прошле године, с благословом нашег Владике Иринеја, да бисмо обележили долазак Богородице Тројеручице међу нас, прославићемо њен празник у ову недељу, 4. јуна.

Придружите нам се тога дана на Светој Литургији у 10:00 часова. После Свете Литургије обавићемо благосиљање свалских дарова за нашу Српску школу “Никола Тесла” и биће послужен парохијски ручак.

Деца Српске школе ће одржати програм у 14:00 часова.

Наша “Пекарица” ће продавати пециво после програма, а сав приход је намењен реновацији дечијег игралишта при цркви.
