Поштовани родитељи,


Велико задовољство нам је да вас обавестимо да ће Српска школа “Никола Тесла” поново почети са радом 20. октобра у 13:00 часова.

Тога дана деца ће имати посебну прилику да погледају и неколико краћих дечијих филмова који ће бити емитовани од стране Српског Народног Савеза (Serb National Federation).

После одгледаних филмова почеће званичан упис деце у нову школску годину, па Вас молимо да дођете у што већем броју. Цена школице за 2019/20. год је $160.

И ове године ћемо се трудити да радимо са децом у малим групама, како бисмо им што више приближили српску културу, историју и језик.

Ово су неки од цртаних филмова који ће бити приказани 20 октобра:

  1. “Mihajlo I. Pupin – Path Towards the Light”, an enjoyable animated-documentary about life and work of Mihajlo I. Pupin; time 34 min.
  2. “The Throne of Saint Sava”, cartoon, Serbian orthodox movie, time 6 min.
  3. “У почетку беше слово” цртани филм, време трајања 6 минута.

Dear Parents,

It is our great pleasure to inform you that the 2019/2020 school year in the Nikola Tesla Serbian school will start on 20 October at 1 PM.

On that day there will not be any classes but instead children’s activities including the chance to watch several movies provided by the Serbian National Federation.

1. “Mihajlo I. Pupin – Path Towards the Light”, an enjoyable animated-documentary about life and work of Mihajlo I. Pupin; time 34 min.

2. “The Throne of Saint Sava”, cartoon, Serbian orthodox movie, time 6 min.

3. “In the beginning was a Word” cartoon, Serbian orthodox movie, time 6 min.

Afterwards we will be collecting Serbian School registration forms.  Tuition for the 2019/2020 school year is $160 and payments can be made by check or in cash. Checks should be made out to Saint Luke Serbian Orthodox Church with the note in the memo line” Serbian School Nikola Tesla”.

All payments are handled by the school program treasurer Marija Eremic.

Everyone with an interest in learning about Serbian language and culture is welcome to join us.
