His Holiness Irinej, Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, will visit St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church of Washington, D.C. on March 2, 2020.

Patriarch Irinej will be accompanied by His Grace Bishop Jovan of Šumadija, a member of the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America, the diocesan bishop of Washington, D.C. and the East Coast of the United States.

The visit starts with the Great Compline and the Canon of St. Andrew of Crete which will be served at 6:00 p.m. at St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church at 10660 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854. 

Afterwards, a lenten banquet will be prepared in honor of His Holiness at the neighboring social hall of Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church at 10620 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854.  In order to cover the cost of the event, the parish is asking everyone to make reservations for the banquet at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/95535692829

Његова Светост Патријарх српски Г. Иринеј посетиће Српску Православну Цркву Св. Луке у Вашингтону у понедељак, 2. марта.

У пратњи Његове Светости Патријарха српског биће Њихова Преосвештенства Епископ шумадијски Г. Јован, члан Светог Архијерејског Синода, и Епископ источноамерички Г. Иринеј, епархијски архијереј за Вашингтон и целу источну обалу САД.

Посета ће почети у 18:00 часова Великим повечерјем са читањем Канона Св. Андреја Критског у Српској Православној Цркви Св. Луке, на адреси 10660 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854.

По завршетку богослужења, биће уприличена свечана посна вечера у част Његове Светости у оближњој сали Антиохијске Православне Цркве Св. Петра и Павла на адреси 10620 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854 .
