Српска школа „Никола Тесла“ у Вашингтону отвара сезону уписа у нову школску годину која почиње 6. октобра 2024. године и завршава се 1. јуна 2025. године. Настава ће се одржавати сваке друге недеље од 13 до 15 часова као и претходних година, осим ако је наведено другачије у календару. Време генералних проба и завршне приредбе ће бити објављено накнадно.
Наставићемо да пратимо наш школски програм установљен 2022. године, стога ако већ нисте упознати, саветујемо вам да пажљиво погледате листу доступних часова које ваше дете може да похађа у зависности од узраста и нивоа знања српског језика. (Часови ће бити доступни у зависности од степена интересовања).
Фокус школе и ове године ће бити подстицање ученика да успешно савладају употребу ћирилице. Ако ваше дете није похађало час Азбука/Буквар прошле године, топло саветујемо да то буде час са којим треба да почну, без обзира на узраст (јер је добро познавање ћириличног писма основа за савладавање предстојећих лекција).
Наставићемо и са одржавањем виртуелне наставе за ученике који нису у могућности да лично похађају српску школу (у зависности од степена интересовања). Сва деца из српске дијаспоре су добродошла да нам се придруже, чак и она која живе ван САД!
Упис је отворен до 15. септембра преко овог линка , а годишња школарина за оне који похађају наставу у цркви је $200 за породице са једним дететом и $225 за породице са више деце. (попуст ће бити доступан за породице самохраних родитеља).
Као што већина вас зна, ово је прво повећање годишње школарине у последњих скоро 10 година постојања школе, и сва додатна средства су намењена су за одржавање школских просторија у оквиру цркве, поред регуларних школских трошкова неопходних за студентске материјале, ужину и сл.

Serbian School “Nikola Tesla” in Washington, DC opens its enrollment season for the new school year that will start on October 6, 2024 and will end on June 1, 2025. Classes will be held every other week from 1 – 3pm as in the previous years, unless it is otherwise marked in the school calendar. The schedule for the dress rehearsals and the final performances will be announced close to the end of the school year. Full School Calendar is available in Registration Form.
We will continue following our school curriculum established in 2022, so if you are not familiar with it already, we advise you to look carefully at the list of available classes that your child can take depending on their age and the level of the Serbian language proficiency (the availability of the classes also depends on the level of interest).
School’s focus this year will continue to help all students to successfully master the use of the Cyrillic Alphabet. If your child has not attended the Azbuka/Bukvar class last year, we highly advise that that’s the class they should start with, regardless of the age (because, knowing the alphabet well, is foundation for future learning).
We will continue offering virtual classes for students that are not in position to regularly attend Serbian School in person (depending on the level of interest). All children from Serbian diaspora are welcome to join us, even those residing outside of the USA!
Enrollment is open until September 15 via this LINK, and annual tuition for those attending in person is $200 for the families with one child and $225 for the families with multiple children. Single parents’ families will have the possibility of a discount.
As many of you know, this is a first tuition increase for the past nearly 10 years of school’s existence, and it is intended to be used towards the maintenance of the school facilities within the church in addition to regular school facilitation expenses (student materials, snacks, etc.).
Online school admission is still free, however donations to our church are welcomed and encouraged.
