НОВИ УПИС ЂАКА – НОВИ ШКОЛСКИ ПРОГРАМ
Српска школа ”Никола Тесла” у Вашингтону отвара упис ђака за нову школску годину која ће трајати од 16. октобра 2022 до 4. јуна 2023. године. Часови ће се као и до сада одржавати сваке друге недеље.
Програм наставе је ове године измењен, тако да саветујемо да детаљно погледате листу доступних часова које ће ваше дете моћи да похађа у зависности од узраста и нивоа познавања (доступност часова зависиће од броја заинтересованих) српског језика.
Акценат ове године је пре свега на савладавању српског ћириличног писма, стога смо припремили тест којим можете самостално да оцените знање вашег детета (погледајте у прилогу овог емајла). Ако препознате да се ваш малишан суочава са потешкоћама лаког препознавања слова, топло препоручујемо да ваше дете уз час намењен његовом узрасту похађа и час Азбуке (само похађање часа Азбуке је такође могућност).
Због повећаног интересовање за виртуелну наставу ученика који нису у могућности да часове похађају у српској школи, ове године нудимо и могућност онлајн наставе (у зависности од броја заинтересованих). Добродошла су сва деца из дијаспоре и ван граница Сједињених Америчких Држава!

OPEN ENROLLMENT AND NEW SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR SERBIAN SCHOOL “NIKOLA TESLA”
Serbian School “Nikola Tesla” in Washington, DC opens its enrollment season for the new school year that will start on 16 October 2022 and will end on 4 June 2023. Classes will be held every other week as in the previous years (see the attached calendar).
This year’s curriculum has been updated, so we advise you to look carefully at the list of available classes that your child can take depending on their age and the level of the Serbian language proficiency (the availability of the classes also depends on the level of interest).
School’s focus this year will be primarily to help all students to successfully master the use of the Cyrillic Alphabet. Therefore, we have prepared a self-evaluation test (attached) which you can use to assess the level of writing/reading proficiency of your child. If you notice that your child faces challenges with quick recognition of the letters, we highly recommend that your child also attend the Azbuka/Bukvar class in addition to the class corresponding to their age (or they can only attend the Azbuka/Bukvar class, regardless of their age).
Due to increased interest for virtual classes for students that are not in position to regularly attend Serbian School in person, this year we are offering two options for online attendance (depending on the level of interest). All children from Serbian diaspora are welcome to join us, even those residing outside of the USA!
Enrolment is open until 14 October via this link, and annual tuition for those attending in person is $160. (Online admisson is free, however donations to our school are welcome).
