St. Sava Celebrations
Invitation to 2018 St. Sava Celebrations: Jan 27 by St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church and Feb 03 by “Opancici” Serbian Cultural Center
Dear Parishioners of St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church, “Opančići”, and Friends:
It is our great pleasure to inform you that this year our community will be enriched by two complementary celebrations of St. Sava, whom all Serbs celebrate as their enlightener as the first Archbishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The parish of St. Luke will be celebrating St. Sava on January 27th and the Serbian Cultural Center “Opančići” will celebrate their Slava on February 3rd.
We are very pleased to be able to invite all of you, people of good will, to come and support both celebrations of our common patron – St. Sava. Each celebration will contain unique aspects and we hope that it will provide cultural and spiritual enrichment to the Serbian community in the greater Washington-Baltimore area.
You can find more information on both events in the attached flyers.
